Those convicted of speeding up to 14 mph above limit can expect to have 2 points assessed to their driving record by the Motor Vehicle Commission. Those convicted of speeding 15 to 29 mph above the limit can expect to have 4 points assessed. A conviction for speeding 30 mph or more above the limit will result in the assessment of 5 points.
