Monroe Municipal Court handles non-indictable offenses occurring within the Township. Non-indictable offenses generally include traffic violations, disorderly and petty disorderly persons offenses, or local ordinance violations. Therefore, Monroe Municipal Court may preside over the following offenses:

- Following too closely
- Unsafe lane change
- Drunk Driving: DWI / DUI
- Refusing to Submit to a Breathalyzer
- Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License
